Course information

The purpose of this (1) hour course is to provide an overview of pediatric trauma, including assessment and management.

By the end of this course, you will have the skills to:

✔️ Review anatomy and physiology of the pediatric patient.

✔️ Identify at least three trauma types common to the pediatric patient.

✔️ Delineate primary and secondary assessment of pediatric trauma patients.

✔️ Describe management strategies and nursing interventions with pediatric trauma patients.
