The purpose of this (1) hour course is to prepare CNAs to care for stroke survivors using evidence-based best practices.

By the end of this course, you will have the skills to:

✔️ Describe the warning signs of stroke.

✔️ Name the various kinds of stroke.

✔️ Identify conditions and habits that may lead to strokes.

✔️ Describe some common losses caused by strokes.

✔️ State the goals for stroke care and rehabilitation.

✔️ Identify ways to create safety for stroke survivors.
