Ethics for Healthcare Professionals

The purpose of this (1) hour course is to explore ethical situations that healthcare professionals commonly encounter, and to provide information to help healthcare professions recognize and manage ethical issues.

By the end of this course, you will have the skills to:

✔️ Delineate the 4 classic ethical principles: autonomy, beneficence, nonmaleficence, and justice as they pertain to healthcare.

✔️ Discuss the American Nursing Association’s (ANA) Code of Ethics and how it effects healthcare professional’s practice.
