Course information

The purpose of this (2) hour course is to provide a brief review of pain components and discuss assessment and management of chronic pain conditions.

By the end of this course, you will have the skills to:

✔️ Review basic physiology of pain.

✔️ Review appropriate components of pain assessment.

✔️ Discuss common barriers to effective pain management.

✔️ Identify management options, including pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions to alleviate chronic pain.

✔️ Discuss common barriers to effective pain management.
