The purpose of this (3) hour course is to give healthcare professionals an overview of CIH therapies to promote and maintain optimal well-being.

By the end of this course, you will have the skills to:

✔️ Discuss current research findings for each of the complementary and alternative medical practices described in this course.

✔️ Explain five alternative whole medical systems and their approach to health.

✔️ Outline the concept of manipulative and body-based therapies, detailing two modalities.

✔️ Discuss the different types of energy therapies used in CIH.

✔️ Describe the use, benefits, and side effects of chiropractic in the U.S.

✔️ Discuss other types of therapies such as art and music therapies.
