Course Description

The purpose of this (2) hour course is to educate healthcare professionals on stroke prevention being a leading public health issue. This CE course identifies ways in which healthcare professionals can recognize the early warning signs of stroke and prevent the occurrence of stroke through education. This course reviews primary and secondary stroke prevention tools that healthcare professionals can use to modify risk factors for stroke.

By the end of this course, you will have the skills to:

✔️ Identify objectives of the Healthy People 2030 campaign in reducing stroke and cardiovascular disease.

✔️ Identify and discuss stroke prevention guidelines and strategies.

✔️ Review clinical performance measures as a secondary prevention tool.
