The purpose of this (1) hour course is to teach healthcare professionals about the structures and functions of the skin and its associated assessment. Understanding the fundamental structures and functions of the skin, as well as common assessment techniques, will allow the healthcare professional to provide care for all patients and effectively intervene when there is a problem.
