This one (1) hour course aims to inform CNAs on how to prevent falls and how to use restraints safely.

By the end of this course, you will have the skills to:

✔️ State the reasons for using restraints.

✔️ Describe people at risk of falling.

✔️Describe a CNA’s responsibilities in caring for a restrained patient.

✔️ Identify fall prevention measures that are tried before using restraints.

✔️ State who is responsible for deciding to restrain a patient.

✔️ Recognize the different types of restraints.
